The Scenario
A seasoned developer with a large portfolio was looking to refinance an outstanding bridging loan and also seeking a refurbishment facility. The borrowers had achieved planning to redevelop the flat into a large family unit including adding a rear extension and landscaping.
The existing lender was not able to provide the facility for cost of works nor provide an extension to the borrowers.
