The Scenario

A US investor with experience in the UK property market sought options on purchasing a vacant Semi-Commercial property at auction. The property had planning permission already granted for 6 additional residential units.

The borrower had Terms with a well-known lender but was let down halfway through the process to completion. As the property was an auction purchase, there was a tight deadline remaining to complete without the borrower incurring a penalty and potentially losing their deposit.

Inflow was able to obtain a re-type of the existing valuation and pick up the case quickly, getting familiar with the borrower and their plans and enabling completion in the timeframe. The smooth transition which Inflow undertook left a lasting impression on the borrower who has since referred us to other borrowers.
